Scarred

Well, I don't know how I got into these, but this is the second one in the serious that I have read, this time as an audio book.

It was entertaining, but I don't love it. The “romance” in this one seemed less dark than the previous one I had read in the series, which was better for me.

I also like the concept of retelling fairy tales or Disney stories as something else, and having villains be the heroes, however, the retelling of the Lion King seemed like a bit of a stretch for me.
