It wasn't quite what it sounded like in the blurb. A lot heavier than expected, but it turned out to be a very good thing. It's an interesting look in to the life of a typical teen put into atypical situations. I'm intrigued enough to try out the sequel.
A very enjoyable read. Francesca is both believable and likable as she struggles with issues at home, a new school and finding herself. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoyed Looking for Alibrandi.
It was good. Francesca is actually a teenager with some brains, and problems that almost resemble real life, as opposed to so many of the other ones depicted in books we find around.
