Saving Francesca

Of course I loved this book. To bits. I was about the same age as the characters were when this book was written* and, like them, I loved my music (my discman!), I loved my friends, I loved my Tuba Guy-type crushes; school, family and growing pains were a struggle. Most importantly, no internet. Wonderful stuff.

[edit] * I just checked the date and I was wrong, but my teenage years were very similar to what's in the book anyway. I miss my discman.
