Life on Sutherton's Main Street has always been hazardous, but the day Daisy Griggs siphoned almost three pints of blood from Mrs. Bradenham during the town's annual blood drive brings Daisy's daughter, AnnaLise, back to Sutherton. When people begin dying in great-than-historical numbers, AnnaLise must figure out why, or her mother may be next.
