I hadn't even realized Lynette Eason published a new book so recently. I usually stay away from Harlequins unless I know the author's writing, but when I passed a shelf yesterday at the bookstore and saw her name, I had to grab it. Since it was a resale store, I had no idea it was a new book until I got home. Of course, I didn't really wait to read it. :)
Eason is a favorite of mine for excellent suspense, and I know I can trust her for some good twists and turns, too. I loved the new play on the suspense genre, with having it focus on a bullrider and a woman bullfighter. There's a creepy stalker after our fair lady, and she's only going to get away from him with the help of the fearless buckaroo (bullrider). Thing is, the stalker has an accomplice. With two against two, who's going to win out?
This little book is definitely “a good ride”—and one longer than eight seconds, too!
