Rick and Morty #1

Honestly insane just how well they capture the voice of Rick and Morty. Like the mannerisms and the way they speak is perfect it’s rare I can read a comic and hear the characters from the show it’s based on in my head. Hell I could even tell what miscellaneous aliens would be voiced by Justin and which ones wouldn’t just by how improvisational it sounds. Anyway first issue is great, story isn’t anything amazing but the Jerry joke is really funny and there’s a couple other good moments. Summer short story is fine, nothing really to talk about, but it’s nice to see her get some love.

This was a great adaptation of the television show. I'll probably read this here and there when I have nothing to do. If you love the tv show then you'll love the comic.

I enjoyed my first experience of Rick and Morty and look forward to continuing the ride.
