Not quite as good as [b:Easy Korean Reading For Beginners 41137091 Easy Korean Reading For Beginners (소리내어 읽어보는 30가지 이야기) TalkToMeInKorean https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1534188915l/41137091.SX50.jpg 64284530], in my opinion. The grammar sections here were a bit pointless, and I think I learnt a lot more about sentence structure from Easy Korean Reading, but perhaps that is logical as the focus here is casual conversation rather than different texts with more variety. I just think the grammar sections were superfluous and could have been omitted. The audio files and transcript themselves are excellent, as always from TTMIK. I've been dipping in and out of this book for nearly a year, and will now move on to the next in the series [b:Real-Life Korean Conversations : Intermediate 42393130 Real-Life Korean Conversations Intermediate TalkToMeInKorean https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1539962931l/42393130.SX50.jpg 66070339], which I bought at the same time. Think I'm moving past the need for textbooks, but I still find them helpful to give structure to my studying when I'm stuck.
