Pro Truth

Although I have read many things about logical fallacies, cognitive biases and different ways we can be deceived into believing things that are not true, the book still managed to open my eyes at the deceiving role of current “post-truth” politics. I learned how easily can people be fooled by politicians and can now understand many of their actions. It is a bit USA oriented, but also with examples from other countries. It serves its purpose very well: shows you how to become a “Human Lie Detector” and provides ideas on how to bring back the value of truth to contemporary politics and media. Much recommended!

I enjoyed and benefited from this book very much, and I think you would, too. Unfortunately, I managed to lose my notes and the full review, and now I just can't re-create it. Sorry. But read the book; give it to your friends. America and the world will be a better place if you do.
