Priceless

Wasn't as great as I thought it would be. The romance was not fleshed out at all, with a stupid misunderstanding at the end that was glaringly obvious. The overall search for the missing girl and the background about Rylee were my favorite parts because they were the only ones fully developed. Not even the magical world was as explored as it should have been as an introduction for the reader. The author throw way too many things in to fully stop and explain what the world was about, why she was hesitant to get involved in the Arcane Division of the FBI.

Excellent, albeit short, novel. I really enjoyed reading about Rylee and her companions. She is a kickass urban fantasy heroine, but she is a little different than the others I've read about, and her friends are certainly unique. Who else has a pet werewolf?
