It's main focus is on the technical business strategies of how games were created, their market, the decline in popularity in the early 1980's and return to populaity in the United States. It takes a year by year look at the various important advances in video game technology, and popularity. There are no photographs, illustrations, or screenshots, only text. The book originally sold for $19.99. The book would be updated several times. The copyright says the First Edition/First Printing was limited to 1,000 copies.
