Pete the cat wants to get some sleep, but his friends are sleeping over after a fun day together and they keep making noise. Poor Pete has the bed time blues, and it gives him an idea... No, not making music instead of sleeping, though I'll admit I thought it may happen. He decides to help his friends get to sleep with a bedtime story - a cute nod toward this book's use as a bedtime story itself.

I like this book. It's cute, groovy, retro-styled, and fun. I would recommend it for children who love animals and who need bedtime stories to help them unwind at night.
