Outcast, Vol. 1: A Darkness Surrounds Him

An interesting take on demonic possession and supernatural horror. Great art and writing. The first volume presents a lot questions which will hopefully be answered in future volumes.

I've never read ‘The Walking Dead,' and I've only seen the part of the first season, so I really have no experience with Robert Kirkman. I had no preconceived notions about what to expect. And so, I will say that I rather liked the first volume. Not the best thing I've read, but openers are often iffy. So this was good for an introduction. I like the fact that we might be dealing with simple demon possession here. I'll be looking forward to the next volume.
