Outstanding. A must-read for tennis fans, but I would also recommend this book to anyone who enjoys memoirs. I see myself returning to this work many times in the coming years.

An engaging insight into the psyche of a professional tennis player and Agassi's formative years. Can't help but feel a lot of the emotions and feelings are dramatised/imagined in hindsight though, and the way he talks down about other players rubs me the wrong way in some parts

I went into this not knowing a single thing about tennis. That first chapter sucked me in more than any other book in recent past.
