The death penalty as a metaphor for the multiverse? It works tho 🤷🏽‍♀️

I will gladly ignore the sometimes a bit dramatic flowery metaphors when the book is this good

Haunting and gripping from the first page. I couldn't put this down.

Very thought provoking! I did have a slight gripe with the audiobook, Ansel is from upstate NY but the narrator had a very Brooklyn accent.... Just annoyed me lol

If you couldn't get enough of Cormac McCarthy's Anton Chigurh, this book is for you. I have a soft spot in my heart for fictional psychopathic country boys. There is a little something wrong with everyone in this book, and the ending made me cry.

I was deeply moved by this story and couldn't stop talking about it. I'll gather my thoughts and do a full review later.

im sorry this was very boring. i get the point but in my opinion it was done poorly. this would do better as a tv show probably but as a book its just kinda a slog to get thru

“They are relevant because of Ansel and the fascination the world has for men like him.”
harrowing and horrifying, with plenty of important commentary that doesn't feel forced or preachy.
