3.5 stars. Better than I expected. Mandvi writes poignantly about his struggles with his identity - born in India, raised in England, adolescence spent in Florida - and is matter-of-fact and unsparing about the prejudice he faced along the way. I wish he had devoted a few more pages to his time on The Daily Show, but the heart of his story happened before he reached that point. I finished the book realizing there is much more to him than the comedian we see as TDS' “Senior Muslim Correspondent.”
