Nightfall

2.5 stars. Honestly it just could have been better. It was fine and not actively terrible, but sort of hovered in the just okay column.

So, yeah, there are flaws here. The prose isn't the most engaging. There are character inconsistencies. This definitely is a newbie book. That being said, I enjoyed this concept. I enjoyed the world. I was never bored. And I liked Kana. Whilst I was hoping for more creepiness in this book, there were some tense parts. I would have liked a better execution of the material, but it was still enjoyable.
