Night of Cake and Puppets

Unpopular opinion I guess, but this did zero for me and I adore the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series all every other thing I've read by Laini Taylor. I didn't find it a cute story, there was no plot and the dialogue was grating.

A sweet little interlude from the intense demon v angel warfare of the main books.

This short story of Zuzana and Mik's first date is just completely adorable. All the squee and mushy feelings you expect from the boy-meets-girl part of the YA novel.
