This audiobook just isn't hitting for me which is a bummer because I was so excited after loving the first book. It is... kinda boring? + Mat's ignorance of pop culture is way WAY too extreme. He doesn't know there are Sherlock Holmes movies??? There are classic Holmes movies! Hearing that was just my last straw haha.

This was an adorable read, I definitely liked it a bit more than the first book. I will say that I did feel it a bit long at times, but overall very enjoyable.

I always feel books with nice guys deserve to be praised as I consistently see a preference for the alpha controling type on internet. Additional praise for the use of a DIU instead of birth control pill (I think it was the first time I've seen it happen) partially offset by deciding not to use a condom withou testing... I guess we cannot have everything.
