Never Lie

I have so many emotions and no one to share it with! I'm the first to read this out of my coworker/bookclub/friend group and let me tell you.... Phew! I saw mixed reviews and was hesitant to read it and I was a little frustrated because it seemed so predictable but MAN DID IT HIT ME OUT OF NO WHERE! It was really good. Would recommend.

I'm quickly learning that this author isn't meant for mind-twisting or complex situations. The obvious answers are usually the correct ones which feels a tad lazy to me.

This author gives me cozy mystery feels for anyone that has read that genre. Not necessarily a bad thing, but when you expect a thriller or some sort of twisty read, it's disappointing when it's neither of those things.

That being said, this author is definitely fun for short and super easy reads. I will probably read her again when I need a break from my other reads.
