When the only things that rain in your life are only bad ones...and you don't know what good really is....One more time Tea Ravine delivers a really interesting concept as a plot line - mind manipulation and conditioning from such an young age that leave deep fractures in a young, fragile, developing mind. After a lifetime of loneliness that stretches empty and devoid of genuine emotion and purpose, watching Lia's hope for a new beginning to bloom only to be shattered one more time was really kind of bitter sweet. But as someone who survived so much heartache and disappointment, like the fighter she truly, Lia grabbed the reins of her life refusing to give up and be cowered. The tempting, delicious and untamed members of the Mirakill MC were the kryptonite she needed to finally understand that if you want something in real life, you have to grab it by the horns and put your stamp on it. The vibe of the book was the perfect mix between the dark shades of the past, marring Lia's present, lighter notes of mischief and shenanigans, sprinkled generously and enough twists and resistance from the Mirakill MC pack to spice things up and not feel too bland or easy. I really enjoyed the new addition in the Raines fictional world and have to say Atta, girl your rock this Omegaverse genre!
