Nerilka's Story & The Coelura

This used to be a favourite of mine, but I hadn't reread it in 20 years. Unfortunately, the Suck Fairy had visited in the interim, especially in the last 2 or so chapters (though not as bad as Dragonflight and Dragonquest!)

Not a tremendously complex story, but blessedly free of the issues that have so annoyed me in the rest of the series. Short enough to read in one sitting and actually having a bit of emotional depth earns it three stars, if only by comparison.
