Very solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was exactly what I needed it to be.
The book is fast paced, well written, has strong and smart characters, that made me care and root for them, and the conclusion was very satisfying.
For a brief moment I thought the end would let me down but I was mistaken, because the author had it all well planned out. I will continue with the series.
Honestly, I was going to give up with this book. It was kinda boring in the beginning, but it got waaay more interesting and fast paced. I'm glad I finished reading, it was surprisingly good.
I had no expectations about this book. I didn't read any reviews and I'd never heard of the author. The book was available for my free trial of Kindle Unlimited and worked with one of my reading challenge so I thought I'd give it a try and I really enjoyed it! I'll definitely have to get the other books in the series now!
I am a big fan of not only crime books but crime tv. this is my first book by this author and I think it may actually be my last. the story is a great concept and while the pacing has it's high and low i was entertained but not to the point of OMG i need more.
It was a Kindle first and an excellent surprise! I kept trying to guess what would happen - Tracy lost her sister over twenty years ago, and despite the fact there was a jury and a conviction, she was never sure the real killer was caught, because her body had never been found. She became a detective, her family fell apart and life changed, and now Sarah's body seems to have been found, and she will try again to find closure.
Apart from maybe 30 pages when it got a bit boring, the whole book was interssting and gripping to its ending. Well done!
