My Mess Is a Bit of a Life: Adventures in Anxiety

I usually hate books about being a mother, but this was HILARIOUS and way too relatable. As someone who has also suffered from severe anxiety since I was a young child and into my adult life, I thought Pritchett did a fantastic job at putting into words so much of how anxiety feels. I loved everything about this.

Despite the troubles/anxieties/heartbreak mentioned in the book, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

I suppose that was partly due to the excellent humour/wittiness that made an appearance every so often throughout the book.

I admire the author for being brave enough to share her experiences with us.
