Why?

Well, first off, because it's been sitting almost untouched since my lat update and - look, I just wasn't enjoying it when I was reading it. Maybe... I don't know. All I can think is that I know enough about Ancient Egypt for the oddities in here to be jarring. (I also think I was expecting too much, I should have been willing to view it the same way I do shows that touch on Ancient Egypt, instead of expecting it to be accurate and with a solid sense of time and place.) (Also, to be fair, it hit a couple pet peeves for me and...yeah.)

I also completely forgot about this book and I only have two days left on my library loan. If all I managed to read in three weeks was twenty-two pages, there's a good chance I'd never get this thing finished.
