Murder in an English village

Why?

Because reading it feels like a chore - something I have to do rather than something I want to do.

I'm not digging the writing style, the characters or the ‘mystery'. (Yes, really start poking your nose into the disappearance of a girl two years after the fact.) There's too many little niggles that don't quite make sense for me to trust that the author has a good grasp on her mystery for me to push through for that.

4.5 stars. I really enjoyed the narrator. I think I'd listen to anything she narrates. I love the interplay between Beryl and Edwina. The mystery was fun. Great cozy read
