I am putting this book down before finishing it. While I'm intrigued by the premise, I find it to be way too heteronormative for me to enjoy.

Here are a few things I found myself correcting:
- women often have partners of a different gender.
- not all women are born with a bounty of estrogen
- not all women have ovaries or a uterus
- not all women have vulvas

There's more, but honestly I just felt exhausted by this.
