Mohun, Or, the Last Days of Lee and His Paladins

This is a long book, but definitely worth the reading! It is the story of a Confederate officer told by an author who had firsthand knowledge of the war. I read the old hardback edition and loved every moment enough to pay more than I usually like to for three more of his books. It's not just a story of an old campaigner, though; it is also the tale of his friend Mohun, so there are two stories rolled into one–that of the narrator as well as of Mohun.
