LOVED this story!! Another whimsical town filled with delightful characters who love one another, make mistakes, forgive, with a little magic thrown in. I would love to be a part of a small town like this and I wish the Blackbird Cafe was real.

I'm really liking this author and genre. All the characters were likeable - although one person took a bit longer to like than the rest. I enjoyed the story even if it was mostly predictable.

Fun read. It was enjoyable and easy. Small town welcoming characters who invited you in. Plus pie!

Cliche, almost entirely predictable, cringey dialogue. Easy to read in the way bad rom coms are easy to watch.

I love a book that has multiple characters that I can actually keep track of. While full of joy and love, this book was still incredibly sad at times so be ready with a few tissues!

A lovely story about family and pain and healing. And the pies and magical realism add so much heart to the story. There are a few twists and turns to add to the book. Natalie and Anna Kate and Seelie and Faylene and so many others make this town come alive and are enjoyable.
