Me Ritings: The Rather Luffly Journal of David's Best Mate

I had been wanting to get David's books for ages, having followed his antics on Facebook for years. Unfortunately, a few months ago David died and went to the bridge. This spurred me on to get his books in honour of his memory.

Now ordinarily people writing as their pets doesn't appeal to me but something about the way his clever mum Becky described the adventures of this goofy, accident prone greyhound always made me smile.

This is a lovely little book, even more so as the proceeds go to help other rescued and retired greyhounds (of which there are far too many needing homes). David became famous across the world and it's easy to see why.

I'm now reading his second book, which includes his campaign to run for Prime Mincer! Unfortunately it isn't on good reads so I can't review it directly.
