"Kino" by Haruki Murakami is a compelling story about Kino, a man who opens a bar after his marriage ends. As strange and supernatural events unfold, he is forced to confront his repressed emotions and face the darkness within. The story was first published in The New Yorker on February 16, 2015, and was later included in the collection Men Without Women (2017).
