I initially found this book in an aisle at an Aldi's grocery store. I didn't buy the book at the time not knowing if it was going to be any good, but now I really wish I did. This was such a swoon worthy, enemies to lovers trope story.
I didn't realize that at the time, but it's part of the same universe as the Twisted series by the same author. Each book is a standalone, but will contain characters who are all connected to each other in some way? Whether it's family, friends, or they attend the same club etc.
The premise is a little questionable as I'm not fully versed in high society expectations, especially Chinese high society expectations.
I personally related to the FMC due to her family dynamics compared to my own family dynamics. Vivian' was well written as a very competent, confident, character. Girl has her -ish together.
Dante was addicting! Ruthless, powerful, and sexy. His redemption and character development was well written and not forced.
Spice level for me was 4 out of five. I was rooting for these two at the end.
