While I was a little bit reserved and hesitant about the first book, this one has me 1000% invested. The suspense really reached a new high - dark, violent, unpredictable! Our baby vigilante from the first book- Eric aka Cobra has grown more confident in his powers and has truly committed to taking down the Killing game. But this deadly game is like a disease spread across the globe so Cobra and Jordan are well aware that they can't do it alone if they want the mission to be successful. So this book is like a preparation for the final battle and the tension is palpable. Can they trust their new ally - The Black knight and will Eric follow through on the stipulations he agreed on in advance. And will his casual relationship with Alexi turn into something more?
