It Would Be So Nice If You Weren't Here

This book serves effectively to do at least two things: to act as a good advertisement for any project Grodin is in, since it sells Grodin's approach and outlook so well, and to bring into greater relief the fact that Grodin has written not only this good book, but several others for which one must now search. The actor, director, producer and writer brings the reader into the Hollywood world from the standpoint of a universal experience, namely failure. Yet another insight he offers is that failures make great stories, too.
