It Was You: Lily's Story

This is the first book I have read by this author, and I definitely want to look into what else she has written. It Was You is what I believe is the first book in a trilogy. I am assuming since this is Lily's story, we will be getting Rose and Daisy's story as well and I really hope we do because I want their stories.

 I really enjoyed this story. I thought it was cute and a little steamy. I will say I found Lily to come across as a little naive at times. That's not to say that she couldn't take care of herself because she definitely can when she needs to. I love stories that involve kids because they are just so adorable. The biggest complaint I have about it is that there are several time jumps mostly in the beginning of the book that will catch you off guard. I mean at one instance in one chapter she is talking to her sister Rose about possibly moving in with her and she says she will think about it and then in the beginning of the next chapter she's been living with her for a month already. It was moment like that that caught me off guard at times because it didn't easily transition into them and just literally plopped you in. 

There were some twists that happened in the end of the story that I wasn't expecting but I totally should have considering the character. I just wasn't expecting this cute story to go there. Overall I really enjoyed this story and I look forward to reading more by this author.
