In the Shadow of the Rockies

In the Shadow of the Rockies

Some twenty six internment camps were created in Canada during the Great War where 'enemy aliens' were interned as prisoners of war, including Castle Mountain/Banff, Alberta. The guards there mantained a daily acount of the activities and events at the camp. Annotated and profusely illustrated, *In the Shadow of the Rockies* reproduces the complete text of the diary which details the regimen of the camp and the trials faced by the internees.
