Incredibly detailed in its research (a little too detailed to make it compulsive reading), and carefully considered in its conclusions, this book outlines the biography of, and the thirty three days of Pope John Paul I, his purported murder, the motives and the suspects.
It is certainly a compelling case for murder, and the evidence, although largely circumstantial, is overwhelming.
Amid the financial corruption of the Vatican Bank, and those running it, the P2 Masonic Lodge and the Mafia involvement, is John Paul's intention to liberalize Vatican policy.
