I give this book four stars for a great effort. I wasn't in love with it and it did take me longer than usual to read considering it wasn't a long book but in the end I was happy with the story.

This story revolves around a family who has recently lost the husband/father and foundation of the family. The story focuses on Erin and Amanda Foster who grew up under the same roof but worlds apart. They have no choice but to rekindle a sistership in order to combat Amanda's disastrous marriage and her unborn child from a narcissistic man Amanda thought she knew. In that effort Erin discovers just who she is and how she can be a bigger part of her family. I love the suspense of not knowing what Amanda is going to do but the story line was quite predictable. Overall I'd recommend this book if you're in the mood for a leisure read.
