porque me encantó el penúltimo capítulo, pero el final se sintió apresurado.

Okay, empecé este libro un poco en guardia por la mala experiencia con Dead Romantics y no quería traumatizarme más, y en efecto la prota se me hizo muy oblivious en un mal sentido, me estaba sacando de quicio, pero pronto se redimió y comenzó a caerme bien. sdkjvsdjk
y en cuanto a Julius, m gustó que fuera visto como un ser humano que comete errores, pero se hace cargo y solo cuando lo ve necesario, intercede por Sadie.

Lo único que me entristeció fue que


literalmente no los vemos manejarse como pareja, porque si bien tenían la tensión y la química, faltó como cerrar esa parte.

Pero fuera de eso, fue un buen libro skjdfjk

Mi validación académica se vió reflejada aquí! Amé cada segundo de este libro, sus personajes se sienten genuinamente reales y la pareja es demasiado tierna.

I really enjoyed this book. It's lighthearted reading. Academic Rivals to Lovers has always been my favorite romance trope and I used to search for books with just that. Ann Liang wrote, delivered and ATE. I'm crazy down for the rest of her books because I JUST KNOW IT'LL BE AMAZING. Sadie and Julius ARE THE BEST BEST BESTTTT AHHH

I am absolutely in love with this book. I'm going to recommend it to everyone.

Esse livro é uma farofa deliciosa, eu comecei a escutar o audiobook e não conseguia mais parar simplesmente por que a dinâmica dos personagens estava muito boa. Não tem como competir com um enemies to lovers, e eu amei esse!

I see so much of my highschool self in Sadie, it's embarrassing I have to laugh at it. This book is hilariously relatable and so snarky I adore it.

You're one of the top students at your school, make lists on lists on lists, and you don't read an alcohol bottle to see you're drinking bourbon vs beer? SMH WHAT

THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTE

I'm absolutely obsessed with the writing in this book it was so eloquent, deep & described the characters feelings in a unique & beautiful way. I loved Ann Liang descriptions of Sadie's people pleasing tendencies it was so raw, real & relatable. Really relatable because I saw so much of myself in Sadie.I really enjoyed Julius & Sadie's banter. And I loved the friendship between Abigail & Sadie.

I'm using a quote from This Time It's Real to explain to y'all how I feel about this book : “Words just move me. A beautiful sentence will sneak under my skin and crack me open the way a phrase of music might, or a climactic scene from a movie. A well-crafted story can make me laugh and gasp for breath and weep.”

An enemies to lovers story which was decent to read but not very believable.

The characters in this book have their own quirks to make them standup, and the main character herself is an overachiever who worked very hard to get where she was. Her rival is a guy who seems to be effortlessly perfect and has been a thorn in her side since she was nine.

Yet, despite the scathing emails she has written, this somehow pivots them away from rivalry and into a romance that just immediately ignites despite years of disinterest.

Basically, if you want a fluffy quick romance, then this is up your alley. More of a slow-burner myself.

Academic rivals to lovers done right. I think it's safe to say at this point that I'm a fan of Ann Liang's writing. It's so lighthearted and fun, but also relatable on a profound level. Wish I could gift this book to my younger self.

Ann Liang is a literary genius and she needs to be studied in a lab so that society can attempt to understand how she does this time and time again.

Yes, this is only my second book from her. Yes, I am going to continue to sing her praises because she deserves it. Every single time, Ann manages to write these special characters that become so important to me. It almost makes me angry because I never want to finish the books and lose them.

Sadie and Julius, you will always be famous.

I purposely waited so I could make this my last read of the year so I could end it on a high note.

This book needs to be released immediately so I can buy it and create an Ann Liang shrine on my bookshelf.

I believe it's absolutely necessary for me to do a namedrop to Una for introducing me to the art that is Liang's writing. Your love for these characters and Ann's writing has inspired me to pick up these books and I am forever grateful because of how special it's become to me too.
