I Do, Babe

I have been waiting to read this novella for SO long!

I had to remind myself to read these books in order so that I wouldn't ruin anything. I read the first 3 books a couple of years ago and once I got to Ryder's story I just wasn't into it and I gave the series up for a little while. Thankfully I picked them back up and powered through them in a matter of days. So glad I did because I was missing out.

Ok, review time. This is going to be short and sweet, just like the novella.

So, I adored this little story. I love Styx and Mae as a couple, they are the characters that drew me to this series. Even though I am now a Flame whore, they will always be one of my favorite couples.

There was only one thing that bothered me and this is why it got 4 stars instead of 5. Please do not uncover this spoiler if you haven't read the book yet. I know that Tillie doesn't want us to spoil anything but I just have to know what everyone else thinks.

Why did Styx not write a song and sing his vows to Mae? If that is the only time that he is truly stutter free, why not? To be quite honest, I thought that was where this book was going and I was a little let down when he didn't. I love Styx and his stutter, but I know how important it was to him to give Mae proper vows. Thoughts?

I still loved this book either way, and it makes me excited for Flame and Maddie's novella!!!
