Many of these are things that i do naturally. As I find with most self-help books, this book repeats itself and what it could say in 5 pages, it took 10. Interesting points, enjoyed and will apply some, but not life changing.

Upping to 5 stars.

I re-read this every couple of years and continue to get a lot of value.

I still dislike the name of the book... and some of the examples are a bit cringe... but the lessons on empathy and understanding the perspectives of others are invaluable.

A great book in its kind. I learned a few things. Some life strategies are obvious, others make a lot of sense. Why don't we read books like this in school, as teenagers? An entertaining read, all American structure - tons of anecdotes.

70 years in print, still holds true. A little slow to read, so feel free to skip parts and still get the point. I did.

The book had some good points but it is a bit old fashioned and outdated imo. Great guidelines though.

Lots of great advice in here, the problem is breaking habits and remembering to use them on a day to day basis

This book was helpful, but could have been 800x shorter.

This book is sneaky. It's just a treatise on why you should - gasp - actually listen to other people, remember what they tell you, and ask follow up questions. I will forever applaud Dale Carnegie for selling us basic human decency under the guise of self-help.
