How to Love Thine Enemy

[3.4~3.5] contrary to the “enemy” drop in the title, this is actually a super sweet childhood friends-to-lovers (with a long period physically apart in between but never far from each other's hearts cue the sappy music) tale with the enemy aspect manifesting as a variation on the forbidden love trope.

their relationship was aww-worthy cute, and it was wholesome to watch these innocent boys burrow back into both their chests to fill in the gap that'd been empty for all these years. however, in terms of the series as a whole, part of me can't help but feel like since the shift in environment, the ambience and level of character development haven't quite matched up to what i've grown accustomed to and enjoyed from the original Mad Creek crew. hopefully this changes with the next one!
