I feel like I need to curate a list of these Hollywood romances that I just gobble up.
Thank goodness this man got sober.
DNF @ 75%, the fact that I didn't pick this book back up for MONTHS shows you. The writing is fantastic. I cannot stand Grey, she's whiny and unwilling to understand for the man she loves. I love Ethan, yes he's been through shit but he has a major character arc. Grey? Not so much.
I was hooked from the very beginning of the story. This was a really heartfelt enjoyable debut. Grey & Ethans's story about the behind the scenes in Hollywood; on how difficult it is to deal with being under the limelight, keeping their private lives private and the struggles they face just like every person in this world. You follow them as they come together to help try to rebrand their fame, tackle their demons, and fall in love in the process. It was a very enjoyable read for me. I will definitely be checking out further books from this author.

This was good, particularly in its rejection of the “your love cured me trope” in which beautiful young, women save surly, hurting men from themselves. However, this is the second age-gap romance I read in as many days, and it shames me to admit, I don't really enjoy them. Particularly, because I rarely, if ever see the reverse in romance and most of the age-gap romances I've observed in real life are rife with unsavoury power dynamics. But, I digress, on its own, this book was a swoony, enjoyable romance.
