House of X/Powers of X

Great, deep story. I loved how earlier parts of the book come back with a different lense and us knowing more to recally explain what's going on in some of the earlier, confusing parts. 

amazing concept. could see concepts of this being used in the MCU

I've been a long time fan of the X-Men movies, but I'd never REALLY cracked open an X-Men comic until this August (unless you count the giant-size compendium I bought in high school and never read). House of X/Powers of X is a good jumping in point for readers that already have a cursory knowledge of major characters, but I think it would be a bit disorienting for someone completely unfamiliar. There was plenty of cool worldbuilding and dramatic moments to keep me engaged, and I'm interested to follow these character's stories throughout the Krakoan era.

Incredible, Hickman is the most creative mind in marvel working today.

Recommended by a comics friend, I didn't realise how deep sci-fi this stuff has gotten.

Love the artwork, the time bending, the entire Moira X concept, and the feeling of so many ideas and potential stories almost tossed aside for the sake of something bigger.

The kind of thing you'll read again soon after you finish just to enjoy it properly.
