Hokuloa Road

It took Grady 187 days to get to the compound and then after sitting there watching FOREVER it's just done. What. And then four more chapters about birds. I don't know what I just read.

☔I started Hokuloa Road yesterday and was quickly sucked into this one. The descriptions and imagery from them had me lost in the island, and the story.

⛈️I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on this one, but for me it was perfect. Its slow, yes. True, not too much is happening BUT it's beautiful writing and has a lot of island history, myths and mysteries which I devoured.

☔For some, this wasn't a quick read but I was definitely in the right mood for this and finished it in less than a day. I hated to put this down and quickly finished whatever I was doing to dive back in.

⛈️I would say this is for those who like to slow down and really get immersed in the mystery and imagery from the writing. I absolutely loved this one and need to go read more from this author.
