Hockey Girl Loves Drama Boy

Very cute and sweet. I do wish I could have seen Lindsay get her butt kicked and the ending felt abrupt, but I still really liked it.

Hicks never disappoints me. A sweet story about relationships and finding your own strength. There was only one plot point I didn't think was really handled with as much care as the others.how is Alix so calm about seeing her dad after that many years? and then they just go their separate ways? bizarre.

Overall, a great teen read.

Beautiful, moody artwork and characters with relatable struggles. I loved how the main characters found each other and fell in love, it was so heartwarming. 

The pacing was too quick and jolted in some parts. The bullying felt melodramatic, but I don't know if that's my privilege speaking, so I'm curious how other readers felt about it. Neither ruined my enjoyment of the story, they were just noticeable enough to break immersion in a few places.
