This was an Ok read for me.
Hailey is a breast cancer survivor, and Sloane is ex military with PTSD. I liked Hailey, she was a strong character and didn't let her past cancer bring her down. Sloane I didn't like as much, he spent the vast majority of the book being “woe is me”, and “I am not good enough for her” The push/pull angst was a bit much, and lasted a bit to long for me considering this was just a novella.
Overall though it was an OK read.
