Heir of Fire

Wow. I don't know how I was entertained for almost 600 pages, but I was! There were a few parts in the book that were a little slow for me, but I feel like it was worth it in the end. I was a little skeptical because I had read some less than positive reviews.

Holy crap, do I love Rowan or what. Yes, he was a jerk at the beginning, but gosh darn did he just warm right up. There was so much that happened too. And WTH Maeve? What is she doing? Hopefully Maas will give some kind of answer as to why shes just been holed up for 10 years.

The witches were interesting, but it took a while for me to actually become invested in their story. I am not sure that I completely understand them yet.

I still adore Chaol. What to do.... except read the next book, which is apparently over 700 pages!
