i know plenty of readers will find Jack hard to like because he thrives off drama and can be rather self-absorbed, but second hand embarrassment aside, i think there's something to be said for the satisfaction of watching someone let out their hurt with no filter and not have to be the “better person” when they were so clearly wronged. as a staunch people-pleaser myself, just let me imagine for a moment what it would be like to have the guts to stand up for myself like Jack does.
