Heart of darkness

While King Henry VIII is exchanging one wife for another, life continues in its usual way for Meg Makepeace. That is, until she makes a grim discovery in the churchyard - which in turn leads her to a chance encounter with handsome John Dilley. They are instantly attracted to each other, but when he is suspected of murdering a local labourer, her father warns her to stay clear. Can there be any future for the pair?
