Good Girls Don't

I really liked the Tumble Creek books, so I decided to give this series a try. Kind of a weird coincidence that this one starts with a cop as the romantic lead as well!

I ended up not being in love with it. Tessa just didn't appeal to me. I didn't always understand the motivations of the characters either.
Why are we not debunking rumors? Why can't we sit down and talk things out? Why don't old friends have more faith in each other?

I did enjoy reading this, for the most part. There is a lot of good here and I'm always happy when a romance has more going on then just romantic build up. The mystery of the break in really interested me.
